Stop Hiding Those Legs, Texan Vein & Vascular Can Help!

Sclerotherapy involves the injection of an irritant solution into the spider and reticular veins. The solution causes the vein walls to "stick together". Blood flow is routed to other veins, and the body in time absorbs the abnormal vein.

Stockings are worn for a few days to compress the vein walls together during the healing phase. Procedures take 30-45 minutes depending on the anatomy being treated and multiple sessions are needed.

Double board certified Vascular Surgeon, Dr. Varu uses a combination of Foam and Liquid Sclerotherapy with an FDA-approved agent, Asclera ™, to achieve the desired results.

Per Texas Health & Safety Code §181.105, a new statutory requirement now applies to “covered entities” under Texas medical privacy law. Covered entities must prominently post, both on their website and at their facility, information explaining how patients can request copies of their medical records, how patients can contact the appropriate licensing or disciplinary authority; and how to file a complaint related to their care or records. Practices (including solo practices and therapy practices) should ensure this information is posted and easy to find. If you want us to review anything, send it our way.
