Microphlebectomy

Microphlebectomy is also known as Ambulatory Stab Avulsion Phlebectomy or ASAP.  This procedure is a revolutionary new treatment. In this simple procedure varicose veins are removed through sub-centimeter incisions.

No stitches are necessary. Surgery is performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia and scarring is minimal or non-existent. Results are immediate and normal activity can be resumed promptly. Procedures take from 15 minutes to 2 hours.

Per Texas Health & Safety Code §181.105, a new statutory requirement now applies to “covered entities” under Texas medical privacy law. Covered entities must prominently post, both on their website and at their facility, information explaining how patients can request copies of their medical records, how patients can contact the appropriate licensing or disciplinary authority; and how to file a complaint related to their care or records. Practices (including solo practices and therapy practices) should ensure this information is posted and easy to find. If you want us to review anything, send it our way.
